Access to directory information may also be made available to members on Global Automakers’ member website. Further, with the members’ express approval, Global Automakers may occasionally provide limited data to third parties, including companies that offer services for sale to Global Automakers’ members. This limited data includes names, job titles, companies/organizations, and business addresses, but do not include business phone numbers, business fax numbers, or email addresses.
Information collected on our website:
As with any website operator, Global Automakers analyzes its website logs to improve the value of our website. We use an application to provide real-time information to us and our authorized agents of browser activity on our website. This information does not include any internet users’ personally identifiable information, nor does Global Automakers otherwise gather, request record or collect user PIN information.
Global Automakers complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and its accompanying FTC regulation establish United States federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13.
Global Automakers does not enable “cookies” on our website with one exception. Privacy of E-mail Addresses:
Global Automakers maintains several email lists to keep the media and policy makers informed about news and events. Individuals must request to join our mailing lists. We configure our subscriber distribution lists so that the email addresses of subscribers are not disclosed to anyone other than Global Automakers’ staff and authorized contractors.
